Great results for ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall Exams for the Autumn 2009!
Helena Francis, a pupil of Sarah Dodd's, gained the Advanced Certificate (post Grade 8 qualification) with 90%! Congratulations Helena!!

Helena, a Lingard advanced flute pupil, taught by Sarah, has at just 16 been awarded a place in the the prestigious Hampshire County Chamber Orchestra and the Hampshire County Youth Orchestra!
Hard as it is to get into the Orchestra, there are only one or two places per instrument in the Chamber Orchestra. So when, out of all the young flautists in Hampshire, Helena was asked to join, we were thrilled for her and Sarah.
All the best, Helena, for your audition in September at the National Youth Orchestra auditions!

For more details on Sarah and the Lingard teachers, click on the Tutors link.

£150 was raised for Cancer Research UK at our Lingard Woodwind Concert on 21st March 2009. All the performers where aged between 8 and 16 and played brilliantly – such talent!
Winner of the ‘Most Dedicated Musician’ was Helena Francis (Helena again!) and ‘Great Achievement Award’ went to both Hannah Lawless and Rachael Farmer – congratulations!
